This is a petition seeking quashing of the FIR No. 76 dated 6.9.2022 under Sections 323, 34, 406, 498A, 506 and 509 IPC registered at Police Station Women, Bahadurgarh, District Jhajjar (Annexure P-1). A perusal of the FIR shows that there are specific allegations against all the petitioners regarding commission of the offences alleged. Therefore, it is not a case where reading of the FIR on the face of it does not disclose any prima facie case against the accused/petitioners. Reliance has been placed by the learned counsel upon a document/ panchayati compromise dated 19.8.2022 (Annexure P-4), to contend that the parties have entered into this settlement, and, in terms thereof, the FIR in question needs to be quashed. However, the FIR has been registered subsequent to the said compromise, therefore, it is not to be looked into for the purpose of quashing of the FIR.

In view of the above, there is no ground to entertain the petition. Dismissed.
