MAIN CASE Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner obtained decree of Shastri (with English) awarded by the Varanasey Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varansi, which was held to be equivalent to B.A. and was recognized for employment. Vide order dated 10.12.1987, it has been clarified that degree of Shastri (with English) is recognized in Haryana for employment

The petitioner applied for the post of Secretary and after verification of his documents, he was appointed, vide letter dated 12.02.1992 and now after completing 26 years of service, his services has wrongly been terminated on the ground that Varanasey Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya is not recognized University, as per letter issued by Director of Higher Education, Haryana. Mr. Ramesh Sharma, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent(s) submitted that as per Rule 31 of the Haryana State Central Cooperative Bank Staff Service (Common Cadre) Rules, 1975, the petitioner has alternative remedy of appeal.

Faced with the aforesaid situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to avail the remedy of appeal, in accordance with law. Ordered accordingly.

In case, such appeal is filed, the same shall be decided within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the appeal. Till the decision of the appeal, interim order dated 03.08.2018 shall continue.
