The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus for directing respondent No.1, to stop the recovery @ 60% per month from the salary of the petitioner till the pendency of the statutory review application dated 22.10.2024 (Annexure P-4) filed by petitioner, against the order of Appellate Authority dated 18.07.2024 (Annexure P-3), which was issued vide endorsement No.PSWC/Amla/Admin/E-1/EF-785/16569-75/24 dated 29.10.2024, against the punishment order dated 25.07.2023 (Annexure P-1) passed by respondent No.1, whereby respondent No.1 imposed the penalty of recovery of Rs.3,75,590.50/- on the petitioner. 2.

Ms. Shivani Sharma, Advocate for Mr. Sukhbeer Hundal, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has no objection to the innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that the review application dated 22.10.2024 (Annexure P-4) pending before the Appellate Authority shall be decided within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Further recovery from the petitioner shall remain stayed and would be subject to the final order that may be passed by the Appellate Authority. 7.

The petition stands disposed of.
