***** SANJIV BERRY, J. (ORAL) Learned State counsel has apprised the Court that the vide DDR No.029 dated 18.06.2024, P.S. Nurpur Bedi, District Rupnagar, the petitioner has been found innocent, which has been approved by the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the peition at this stage and has requested that the petitioner may be protected in case the police requires his presence in future in the present case.
