The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No. 37 dated 29.04.2023 under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 13 of Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act 2014, registered at Police Station Division No. 4, Police Commissionerate Jalandhar (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 29.09.2023 (Annexure P-2). 2.

Vide order dated 26.02.2024, the parties were granted one more opportunity to get their statements recorded. 3.

However, as per the report received from the trial Court, the parties again absented themselves and the statements have not been recorded. More so, the cost of Rs. 10,000/- imposed upon the petitioner vide order dated 26.02.2024 has also not been deposited, therefore, the present petition stands dismissed subject to the payment of cost of PARUL 2024.04.18 11:11 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Rs. 25,000/-.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition.

However, in light of the fact that the cost of Rs. 10,000/- was also not been deposited and the precious time of the Court has been wasted. 6.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, subject to payment of Rs. 25,000/- to be deposited by the petitioner within two weeks from today in Poor Patients Welfare Fund, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
