Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., a prayer is made for issuance of directions upon the official respondent(s) concerned to: (i) conduct a fair inquiry, (ii) complete the investigation, and (iii) submit the Final Report under Section 173 of the Cr.P.C. in FIR No.110 dated 08.07.2023, under Sections 406 and 420 of the IPC, registered at P.S. City Khanna, District Khanna. 2.

The learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice, on instructions imparted to him by ASI Harvinder Singh, submits that investigation in the FIR (supra) has already been completed and the Final Report is likely to be presented before the learned Illaqa Magistrate concerned within a month from today.
