**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) The case has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing.

Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.122 dated 05.09.2019 registered under Sections 420, 120-B IPC, Section 24 of Immigration Act, at Police Station Meharban, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana, Punjab.

On 02.03.2020, following order was passed:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the entrustment of the amount has been alleged against the petitioner and his brother Simranjit Singh without there being any date and time of the entrustment. In case of Simranjit Singh i.e. CRM-M No.705 of 2020 after issuing notice of motion along with interim direction, the case is fixed to 01.05.2020. To be heard along with CRM-M No.705 of 2020 on 01.05.2020.

In the meanwhile, petitioner is directed to appear AMANDEEP GOSAIN 2021.08.19 17:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M No.52579 of 2019 before the SHO/Investigating Officer to join investigation on 07.03.2020 at 11.00 a.m. and in the event of his arrest, he shall be enlarged on ad interim bail, on his furnishing requisite bail bonds/surety bonds subject to the satisfaction of Arresting Officer. However, petitioner shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C."

Father of the petitioner has also been arrayed as an accused in the present FIR. He filed CRM-M No.43010 of 2019 and the anticipatory bail was allowed to him, thereby confirming the interim order dated 07.10.2019 vide order dated 06.11.2019. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 02.03.2020, petitioner has joined the investigation to the entire satisfaction of the Investigating Officer.

Learned State counsel on instructions from the Investigating Officer admits the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner is no more required for further investigation in the case.

In view of aforesaid factual position, the interim order dated 02.03.2020 is made absolute. Petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Petition stands disposed of.
