(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 6 to take action against Jitender, Sarpanch as well as Sunil, Panchayat Secretary of village Nigdu, Tehsil and District Karnal as per law for the offence committed by them as referred to in the representation (Annexure P-2 to P-4) addressed to respondents No.3, 5 and 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has stated that the petitioners have already filed the representation (Annexurue P-3) dated 26.10.2023 before the Deputy Commissioner, Karnal, however, no action has been taken till date.
