CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE HARSH BUNGER Present :
Mr. Ankit Grewal, Advocate for the petitioner.
HARSH BUNGER, J. (ORAL) 1.
Petitioner (Ravinder) has filed the instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking an appropriate writ for quashing of an order dated 17.05.2018 (Annexure P-1) passed by the learned Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court-II, Gurugram, in Reference No.350/2016 titled as Ravinder vs M/s Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., IMT Manesar, Gurugram; whereby, an application submitted by the petitioner seeking interim relief for payment of 75% of the salary p.m. till the decision of the reference, has been dismissed.
A further prayer has been made for issuance of an appropriate writ for directing the Reference Court i.e. Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court-II, Gurugram to decide the reference expeditiously in a time bound manner.

2.
After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner would be satisfied, if suitable directions are issued to the Reference Court to dispose of the reference within a stipulated period as he is suffering great hardship on account of non-payment of wages and reinstatement into service.
3.
In view of the afore-said submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and also considering that the reference in question is pending since 2016; accordingly, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the learned Tribunal below, where the matter is pending, to decide the main reference expeditiously and preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
4.
The instant petition is disposed of in the afore-stated terms. November 22, 2023 (HARSH BUNGER) gurpreet JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned:
