(ORAL) By way of present petitioner filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for quashing of FIR No.155 dated 09.09.2022 under Section 295, 323, 325, 386, 342, 506, 148, 149 IPC. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the FIR in question is in fact related to an incident dated 02.09.2022 wherein the complainant was caught red-handed by the petitioners while committing theft of oil from their petrol pump.

Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Sr. DAG, Punjab who is already appearing in view of the advance notice served upon State submits that the investigation in the present case is still going on and thus it would be pre-mature to go into the veracity of the allegations levelled in the FIR. Learned counsel for the petitioners does not press the present petition at this stage.
