Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 528 of the B.N.S.S., 2023, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.343 dated 18.09.2018 (Annexure P-1), under Sections 406/420/120-B of the IPC, registered at P.S. Zirakpur, District S.A.S. Nagar, along with all the consequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the Compromise Deed dated 19.09.2024 (Annexure P-2). 2.
At the outset itself, the learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice, has, on instructions imparted to him by S.I. Jaswant Singh, informed this Court that, the investigating agency has already prepared a cancellation report in the present FIR on the basis of compromise, and, the said cancellation report will soon be presented before the learned Illaqa Magistrate concerned. In view of the submissions made by the learned State counsel, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks leave to withdraw the instant petition, however, with liberty to the petitioners to re-access this Court on the same cause of action, if their grievance still survives. 4.
Leave granted.

Consequently, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, with liberty (supra). Moreover, the respondent No.1-State is directed to ensure that the cancellation report is presented before the learned Illaqa Magistrate concerned, within fifteen days from today.
