(ORAL) Petitioner is seeking the concession of interim bail in case FIR No.94 dated 13.07.2021 under Section 22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Sector 31, Chandigarh to attend the marriage of his nephew, which is due to be solemnized on 29.11.2023 at Royal park Resort, Zirakpur.

Custody certificate of the petitioner has been filed in the Court today, which is taken on record subject to all just exceptions. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 4.

In view of the antecedents of the petitioner and the stage of trial, this Court is not inclined to accept the prayer of the petitioner for grant of interim bail for two weeks. However, he is allowed to attend the marriage of his nephew only for three hours i.e. on 29.11.2023 in police custody. The petitioner shall be taken under police cusotdy to the venue of the wedding i.e. Royal Park Resort, Zirakpur, on 29.11.2023 at 09:00 A.M. and would be escorted back to the Jail where he is presently lodged on the same day by 12 O'clock.
