The contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 01.05.2025 passed in CRMM-23075-2025 whereby, respondent was directed to decide the representation dated 09.11.2024 by passing a speaking order. 2.

Learned counsel for respondent contends that in compliance of order dated 01.05.2025, compliance affidavit of Varun Sharma, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, District Patiala dated 20.11.2025 along with speaking order dated 06.11.2025 has been passed. Copy of the same is also taken on record.

A perusal of speaking order dated 06.11.2025 shows that order dated 01.05.2025 passed in CRM-M-23075-2025 has been complied with. 4.

In view of the same, the contempt is purged and rule is discharged.

Needless to say that liberty is however granted to the petitioner to challenge the speaking order dated 06.11.2025 in accordance with law. 6.
