The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.6 Jagdeep Singh while holding out a promise that he would take the petitioner abroad after solemnizing marriage with the petitioner had duped the petitioner of lakhs of rupees and thereafter he himself fled back to Australia. It has been submitted that although the petitioner had submitted representations to the police but no action has been taken thereupon. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior PANKAJ KAKKAR 2019.12.12 18:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
