(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.144, dated 26.08.2018, under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 468 and 120-B IPC, Police Station Goraya, District Jalandhar Rural (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 07.09.2018 (P-2). Pursuant to order dated 19.12.2018 of this Court, parties appeared before the trial Court on 15.01.2019 for recording their statements. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Phillaur, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.567 dated 30.01.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide letter bearing No.285/G/JRK dated 31.01.2019.

CRM-M-61470 of 2018 --2-- Phillaur, is satisfied that compromise between the parties seems to be genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence. In compliance of order dated 11.02.2019, original receipts regarding deposit of costs of `15,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Phillaur, dated 30.01.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.144, dated 26.08.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner only. Disposed of accordingly.
