(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.210 dated 23.06.2003, under Sections 323, 342, 356, 506, 148 and 149 IPC, Police Station Sadar Jalandhar, District Jalandhar (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise.
Pursuant to order dated 21.12.2018 of this Court, parties appeared before the trial Court on 17.01.2019 for recording their statements. Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.608/G dated 04.02.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide letter bearing No.329/G/JRK dated 05.02.2019.

CRM-M-61909 of 2018 --2-- is satisfied that complainant has arrived at a compromise with petitioner/accused bonafidely, voluntarily, without any pressure or coercion and compromise is genuine and valid. In compliance of order dated 21.02.2019, original receipts regarding deposit of costs of `15,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar, dated 04.02.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.210 dated 23.06.2003 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner only.
Disposed of accordingly.
