MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition is for setting aside the order dated 16.10.2024 passed by Inspector General of Prisons, U.T. Chandigarh, whereby the parole case of the petitioner has been rejected. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a totally non-speaking order (Annexure P-1) has been passed on the basis of which the petitioner's case for parole has been declined. It has been submitted that ever since the conviction of the petitioner, he has maintained good conduct inside the jail and has not been involved in any other crime. It has also been submitted that it is a matter of record that during the pendency of the trial with effect from 2017 to 2024, the petitioner remained on bail and there was not even a single instance, wherein the petitioner had misused the concession of bail. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the relevant material on record.
