The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for extension of interim bail granted to petitioner by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sonipat for one day i.e. 13.12.2018 in FIR No.239 dated 08.05.2017 registered for the offences under Sections 148, 149, 307 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Rai, Sonipat.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

A perusal of the record shows that the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sonipat vide order dated 3.12.2018 directed the superintendent Jail, Sonipat to make necessary arrangements for taking Rajender and Sunny to attend the 'Bhat' ceremony of Jogender on HARPAL SINGH PARMAR 2018.12.13 12:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-54815 of 2018 [2] 13.12.2018 in safe and sound custody and take them back in the jail on the same day in the evening on their expenses.

Learned counsel for the petitioner filed this petition for extension of this interim order granting interim relief to the petitioner. A perusal of the record shows that no interim bail has been granted by the learned trial Court to the present petitioner. Rather, he has been directed to be taken to attend the 'Bhat' ceremony being real 'Maama' of Jogender in Police custody and he is to be brought back on the same day in the evening to the jail. As interim bail was not granted to the petitioner, therefore, the question of extension of interim bail does not arise. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
