A status report by way of an affidavit of Sh. Gurwinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, SubDivision Ajnala, District Amritsar, along with Annexure R1/T, have been filed in Court today by learned State counsel. The same is taken on record. 1.1 In the aforesaid report, it has been mentioned that an inquiry was conducted through the Station House Officer, Police Station Ramdas, District Amritsar (Rural) (respondent No. 4). It has been recorded that on 15.10.2024, at about 08/08:30 a.m., there was a minor dispute between the parties which was resolved with the intervention of the office bearers of the Gram Panchayat.

Learned counsel for the State has further informed that the petitioner has given a detailed duly sworn affidavit that she does not want to take any action in the present matter as the matter stands compromised Nitin 2024.12.20 14:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Keeping in view the above circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition.
