In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

Since the trial is stated to have been pending since the year 2015 when charges were framed, the Trial Court is directed to take necessary steps so as to make an endeavour to dispose of the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from today provided the accused fully cooperate with proceedings of the trial and do not resort to dilatory tactics.

In case, any application is moved by the petitioners before the Trial Court seeking their exemption from personal appearance on grounds of illness or advanced age, the same shall be considered sypathetically in accordance with law.
