At the outset, learned counsel for respondent No.3-Insurance Company states that he has instructions that respondent No.3 is ready and willing to pay an amount of ₹50,000 (rupees fifty thousand) over and above the amount of compensation already awarded by the Tribunal, to the appellant as full and final settlement of his claim.

Learned counsel for the appellant, on instructions from the appellant, states that the appellant is agreeable to receiving the enhanced amount of ₹50,000 (rupees fifty thousand) over and above the amount already awarded by the Tribunal as full and final settlement. 3.

In view of the statements made by the learned counsel for the parties, the application being CM-29016-CII-2018 seeking condonation of delay is allowed and delay in filing the main appeal is condoned. AMAN JAIN 2025.08.26 09:25 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

The present appeal is disposed off on the statements of the learned counsel for the parties that the respondent No.3-Insurance Company would hand over a cheque for ₹50,000 (rupees fifty thousand) over and above the amount already awarded by the Tribunal to the appellant towards full and final settlement within a period of 4 weeks from today. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
