Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 528 of the BNSS seeking issuance of directions to respondents no. 2 to 4 to take appropriate legal action against respondents no. 5 and 6 who on the pretext of investment took Rs. 5 lakhs from the petitioner by inducement and committed fraud and cheating with the petitioner and prepared forged and fabricated documents on the letter pad of the firm by forging the signatures of petitioner showing the return of amount of Rs. 05 lakhs. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that life and liberty of the petitioner is at danger since the petitioner is receiving serious threats by respondents no. 5 and 6 if she filed any complaint against them. She moved a complaint regarding cheating and forgery of documents by the SEEMA 2025.09.25 10:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

    private respondents but on her complaint no action has been taken till date by the authorities despite moving representation, Annexure P-2. He contends that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied if the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the official respondents to take a decision on her representation, Annexure P-2.

Learned State counsel, who appears on advance notice, apprised the Court that on the complaint/representation moved by the petitioner, an enquiry has been held and the enquiry report has been put up before the Commissioner, Jalandhar for its approval. The petitioner has a remedy available to approach the concerned authorities to seek its status report. 4.

Accordingly, at this stage, without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of and the petitioner is directed to avail the remedy available to her, as per law.
