(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.61, dated 23.03.2018, registered at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar, under Sections 341, 506, 323, 148 & 149 IPC (Section 308 IPC added later on) (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise dated 02.11.2019 (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 10.03.2023, report dated 10.05.2023 has been received from Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any pressure or coercion.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.61, dated 23.03.2018, registered at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar, under Sections 341, 506, 323, 148 & 149 IPC (Section 308 IPC added later on) (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
