Petitioner vide this revision petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeks indulgence of this Court for issuance of directions to Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sangrur to decide the claim petition filed by the petitioner MACP/223/2021. The petition is pending for the last more than three years.

A perusal of the paper book shows that the petition is lingering on for evidence by the respondent for more than six months. The Motor Accident Claims Tribunal is required to dispose of the claim petitions in expeditious manner so that the victim or legal heirs of the victim can get compensation for the loss suffered in the motor vehicle accident and if relief is not granted to the victims expeditiously the entire purpose of filing the PARVINDER SINGH 2025.09.19 15:48 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CR No. 6674 of 2025 -2petition would get frustrated, as such indulgence of this Court is required in the matter. The learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sangrur is directed to dispose of the claim petition within a period of two months from the date next fixed before the Tribunal.
