ARUN MONGA, J.(ORAL) Petitioner herein seeks issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned Agenda dated 29.11.2017 (Annexure P-5) prepared by Director, Fisheries, Haryana vide which name of respondent No.3-Dharmendra Singh Budhwar has been recommended for promotion to the post of Joint Director being contrary to the directions dated 12.07.2016 (Annexure P-2) issued by Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in CWP-12663 of 2016 titled as 'Balbir Singh and others Versus State of Haryana and others'

Learned counsel for the respondent-Commission submits that during the pendency of the writ proceedings before this Court, the petitioner has since retired and the writ petition is, therefore, rendered infructuous.Not only that, he further points out that the respondent, whose promotion is under challenge, has been further promoted while on the other hand the petitioner is not in service anymore. Confronted with the situation, being asked to argue learned proxy counsel appearing on the behalf of the petitioner submits that she is unable to assist this Court for lack of instructions as the petitioner has taken the file from the office of the arguing counsel. Be that as it may, in view of the aforesaid, no ground for interference is made out.

Dismissed.

Pending applications if any, shall also stand disposed of accordingly.
