The present petition has been filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.95 dated 04.09.2023 under Section 21 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985 (Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on), registered at Police Station Sadar Batala, District Batala (Annexure P-1). 2.

Vide order dated 15.12.2023, this Court while granting the concession of anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation.

ASI Balkar Singh, who is present in Court has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his medical was also conducted which is available on the case file. According to which, no drugs was found in the blood of the petitioner and he is not a consumer of any contraband. He further submits that the custodial interrogation of the PARUL 2024.01.24 16:17 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document petitioner is no longer required.

In view of above, the present petition is allowed. The order dated 15.12.2023 granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute.
