Through the instant writ petition, a prayer has been made for the issuance of directions to the respondent No.1 to decide the petitioner's appeal, which has been pending since 03.05.2024, in a time-bound manner. 2.

At the very outset, learned State counsel, on instructions from the quarter concerned, submits that the instant writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the petitioner's appeal within four months.

In view of the submission made by the learned State counsel, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the instant writ petition with a direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the petitioner's appeal within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 4.

Disposed of accordingly.
