Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., a prayer is made for issuance of directions upon the respondent(s) concerned to complete the investigation and to submit the Final Investigation Report in FIR No.212 dated 04.12.2022, under Sections 406, 420, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, read with Section 13 of the Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014, registered at P.S. Division No.6, Police Commissionerate Jalandhar. 2.

The learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice, on instructions imparted to him by ASI Dilbagh Singh, submits that investigation in the FIR (supra) has already been completed and the Final Report has also been prepared. The Final Report is likely to be presented before the learned Illaqa Magistrate concerned within a month from today. 3.
