: ) ((; ## ; & The present petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as Cr.P.C) for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.259 dated 07.10.2023 registered under Sections 379, 120-B IPC at Police Station Patran, District Patiala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the petitioner had no concern with the commission of crime as alleged in the FIR. The bags of sugar have already been recovered from the co-accused Sukhvir Singh, who has already been granted the concession of regular bail. The offences for which the present FIR is lodged is punishable
