The instant petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Sections 302, 307, 450, 452, 506, 427, 34 IPC and Sections 25, 27, 54, 59 of Arms Act, in FIR No. 77, dated 14.06.2022, registered at Police Station Raman, District Bathinda (Annexure P-1), and later on challan was presented under Sections 302, 307, 450, 452, 506, 427, 34 IPC and Sections 25, 27, 54, 59 of Arms Act.

On the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner informs the Court that on account of the fact that petitioner herein has already been acquitted by the trial Court, the present regular bail petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such. 3.
