The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus so as to direct respondent No.3 - Deputy Commissioner, Hisar to issue Sports Arms License to the petitioner.

Learned State counsel has today passed on a copy of order dated 8.12.2023 passed by District Magistrate, Hisar, which is taken on record. A copy of the same has been furnished to learned counsel representing the petitioner. 3.

A perusal of aforesaid order dated 8.12.2023 shows that the case of the petitioner for issuance of an arms license has been declined. Needless to mention, the said order is an appealable order. The instant petition, as such, is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to assail the aforesaid order dated 8.12.2023 by way of filing statutory appeal as provided under the Arms Act.
