The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.47 dated 07.08.2018 registered under Sections 323, 406, 498-A, 506 IPC at Police Station Women, Panchkula.

By an order dated 28.08.2018 while issuing notice of motion, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed him to join investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that in fact a compromise has been entered into between the parties before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and a petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act has been filed.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from IO submits that the petitioner has joined investigation. 5.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required, the instant petition is PANKAJ KUMAR 2020.02.28 13:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M No.37053 of 2018 (O&M) -2allowed and the order dated 28.08.2018 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C. The amount of `1 lakh deposited by the petitioner herein i.e. the husband by way of demand draft be released in his favour, who would be bound by the terms of compromise arrived at between the parties and would make a total payment of `3 lakhs to the complainant as per the terms and conditions of compromise.
