A short reply by way of short affidavit of Mr. Satvir Singh, PPS, DSP (S.D), Barnala, has been filed by learned State counsel on behalf of respondents No. 1 and 2 in Court today, which is taken on record, wherein, it has been submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner is being enquired into but the petitioner is not coming forward. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has never been served with any summons and hence, she could not put in appearance but undertakes to appear before the DSP, Head quarters on the date fixed by this Court.

Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to appear before the DSP, Head Quarters on 07.12.2023 and the respondents are directed to PARUL 2023.12.02 17:40 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document proceed in accordance with law.

In light of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition and the same stands disposed of. 5.

It is made clear that filing or pendency of this petition or any order/direction passed in this petition shall not be an alibi or defence to the petitioner, in case, she is found involved in any illegal activity and the respondent-Authorities shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
