(ORAL) This petition has been filed under Article 226-227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members from the hands of respondent No. 4. Ms. Riffi Birla, Advocate has appeared and filed her memo of appearance on behalf of respondent No. 4 which is taken on record. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Karamjeet Singh, submits that an FIR has been registered against the petitioner and five other persons on the statement of Parveen Kaur wife of Balwinder Singh @ Babbu-respondent No. 4 and this fact has not been disclosed in the petition.

Learned counsel for respondent No. 4 submits that specific inquiry was conducted and the allegations made against respondent No. 4 GURPREET SINGH 2020.01.31 16:52 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

Keeping in view the above, no case for issuance of directions is made out.
