(ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No. 4 to 7. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 18.9.2019 and the representation was given to Superintendent of Police, Nuh-respondent No. 2 on 20.9.2019. In the present case, notice of motion was issued to the official respondents on 24.9.2019.

Reply by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police Tauru, District Nuh dated 05.2.2020, filed in the Registry, is taken on record. Along with the reply, statement of Zilshana-petitioner No. 2 (Annexure R-1), got recorded by the Assistant Sub Inspector on 03.2.2020, has also been filed. CRWP No. 1945 of 2019 -2performed marriage with Iklash (petitioner No. 1) with her free will and has been residing with him and now there is no danger to their life and have been residing happily.

Similarly, the statement of Jaleba, father of Zilshana-petitioner No. 2, was recorded by the Assistant Sub Inspector on 28.1.2020, wherein he stated that he has no objection regarding the marriage of his daughter with Iklash-petitioner No. 1 and would not give threat or beat the petitioners.

In the reply, it has also been averred that statement of petitioner No. 1-Iklash could not be recorded as he was away from his house. Keeping in view the statements of petitioner No. 2 and her father and the fact the petitioners are residing happily and enjoying their married life and there is no danger to their life and liberty, no further orders are required to be passed.

The petition stands disposed of.
