Seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for locaƟng the whereabouts of the detenue namely JyoƟ, the peƟƟoner has come up before this Court under ArƟcle 226 of ConsƟtuƟon of India.

NoƟce served upon the official respondent through the State's counsel. State counsel on instrucƟons submits that daughter of the peƟƟoner has solemnized marriage with respondent No.5 and they both are at Safe House, Sonipat. At this stage, counsel for the peƟƟoner submits that the peƟƟoner being father of the girl be permiƩed to meet and interact with her. Given above, the present peƟƟon is disposed of with a direcƟon to Officer Incharge of the Safe House, Sonipat to ensure one hour meeƟng of the peƟƟoner with the girl namely JyoƟ (daughter of peƟƟoner) as well as her husband, if they want to meet him, aŌer due frisking and depute someone to guard the meeƟng place Ɵll the end of meeƟng and shall ensure protecƟon of both the parƟes. All pending applicaƟons, if any also stands disposed.
