(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside order dated 28.05.2025 (Annexure P-7) passed by learned Financial Commissioner (Appeals), Punjab whereby, the revision petition filed by respondent No.3 (Jagsir Singh) challenging the partition proceedings has been allowed and the matter has been remanded to the learned Assistant Collector for deciding the matter afresh after affording due opportunity of hearing to the parties.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not press the instant writ petition so far as challenge to order dated 28.05.2025 (Anneuxre P-7) is concerned, however, he prays that since the petitioner is in possession of land which is less than her due entitlement, HIMANI GUPTA 2025.11.17 16:49 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

therefore, time bound directions be issued for decision of the remand case by the learned Assistant Collector in terms of order dated 28.05.2025 (Annexure P-7).

On advance service of copy of petition, Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties, the instant writ petition is dismissed as not pressed as regards challenge to impugned order dated 28.05.2025 (Annexure P-7) is concerned, however, there shall be a direction to the learned Assistant Collector to conclude the partition proceedings in pursuance of the remand order dated 28.05.2025 (Annexure P-7) expeditiously and in any case not beyond a period of six months from today, subject to any legal impediment and/or any order passed by the higher authorities/Courts. 5.

The writ petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms. 6.
