(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the official respondents to investigate the matter of the petitioner in a fair and impartial manner as few members of the Panchayat of the Village of the petitioner have illegally cut the trees without the permission of the Panchayat or the Forest Department. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as regards the grievance raised in the instant writ petition, the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 16.06.2025 (Annexure P-5). 2.1 Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if appropriate directions are issued to the concerned authorities to decide the aforesaid representation submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner.

Learned State counsel submits that in case, the representation dated 16.06.2025 (Annexure P-5) has been received in the office of respondent No.2 (Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra), then the concerned authorities shall take decision either way on the same, within a period of three months from today, after affording due opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties.
