The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to consider the petitioner, a unit having installed capacity of 2 MT and accordingly allocate paddy.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a new rice mill. The petitioner well within time installed plant and machinery as well as got electricity connection. On account of some clerical mistake, a negligible difference in the sanctioned load was shown. The petitioner deposited a sum of Rs. 178/- with Punjab State Power Corporation Limited and accordingly, load was rectified. The petitioner was issued final registration considering unit having 2 MT capacity, however, the petitioner PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.11.23 16:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No.26442 of 2023 -2- 2023:PHHC:149311 has been allocated paddy considering the unit having 1 MT capacity. The petitioner may be considered at least for the allocation of RO paddy. 3.

Learned State counsel, who on advance notice is present in Court, assures the Court that competent authority would look into grievance of the petitioner and do the needful within two weeks from today. 4.

In the wake of statement of learned State counsel, the petition stands disposed of.
