JASGURPREET SINGH PURI , J. (ORAL ) Through the present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., the petitioner prays for the grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.131 dated 30.05.2019, under Sections 323, 323, 148 and 149 IPC, (Section 326 and 201 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station, Kotwali, Patiala, District Patiala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been wrongly involved in the present FIR and even otherwise RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2020.02.10 11:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-53002-2020 (O&M) also, a compromise has been arrived at between the petitioner-accused and the complainant. He has also brought to the notice of this Court that a quashing petition based on compromise has also been filed in which notice of motion has been issued and the complainant has appeared before the Court in that case.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Ranjit Singh, states that in fact, a compromise has been arrived at between the parties and that in view of the compromise, there is no need of any custodial interrogation in the present case.

In view of above, the present petition is allowed. It is ordered that in the event of arrest of the petitioner in this case, he shall be released on bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/arresting officer, if at any point of time need so arises. The petitioner shall abide by all the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C. February 07, 2020.
