*** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.145 dated 08.11.2018, registered under Sections 323, 325, 379, 506, 148 and 149 IPC, Police Station Jhabal, District Tarn Taran (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise.

Pursuant to order dated 06.12.2018 of this Court, parties appeared before the trial Court on 08.01.2019 for recording their statements. Learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tarn Taran, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.29 dated 21.01.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran, vide Endst. SONIKA 2019.04.03 17:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh No.444-R, dated 21.01.2019.

CRM-M-54020 of 2018 --2-- According to the report, ld. Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tarn Taran, is satisfied that the compromise appears to be a genuine and is the voluntary act of the parties without there being any sort of pressure, threat or coercion from any corner.

In compliance of order dated 07.03.2019, original receipts regarding deposit of costs of `15,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of ld. Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tarn Taran, dated 21.01.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.145 dated 08.11.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only.

Disposed of accordingly.
