PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Reply by way of affidavit of Shubeg Singh, PPS, DSP, Sub Division Fazilka has been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4 today in Court, which is taken on record. Operative part thereof reads as under : "That it 06.01.2024 is respectfully submitted that on petitioners have suffered their respective statements stating that they became familiar with each other and later on decided to marry each other. Earlier parents of petitioner No.1 wanted to another boy. Therefore, voluntarily went to live marry her with petitioner No.1 at the house of petitioner No.2 Gurmej Singh. Apprehending danger from private respondents, the petitioners filed the present petition.

The petitioners further categorically stated that now both of them are happily living together and there is no threat to their life and liberty from any corner and the petitioners don't need any protection. Translated version of statement of petitioner No.1 is annexed herewith as Annexure R-1/T and translated version of statement of petitioner No.2 is annexed herewith as Annexure R-2/T for the kind consideration of the Hon'ble Court."
