Present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and to restrain the private respondents No.4 to 8 not to harass or interfere in the life of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner has apprehension of threat from the private respondents, who are parents, brother and maternal uncle of the petitioner and now she is living with her family friend, namely, Amandeep Kaur at village Gowara, Tehsil Amargarh, District Malerkotla. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner moved representation dated 11.09.2025, (Annexure P-2) before respondent No.2GEETA RANI 2025.09.27 14:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CRWP-10196-2025 (O&M) ( 2 ) Senior Superintendent of Police, District Malerkotla, but no action has been taken by the authorities on the representation. 3.

Mr. Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in the Court, accepted notice on behalf of respondent-State and submitted that the concerned authorities will take action on the representation, in accordance with law.

Keeping in view the submissions made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Malerkotla to look into the matter and to dispose off the representation dated 11.09.2025 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law at the earliest.
