SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Section 483 read with Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 for grant of interim bail to the petitioner for two weeks in FIR No.88, dated 18.03.2023, under Sections 419, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC and Sections 19, 20 of Transplantation of Human Orgarns and Tissues Act, 1994, registered at Police Station Dera Bassi, District SAS Nagar as the marriage of the sole daughter of the petitioner namely Saima Sheikh is fixed for 07.11.2024. In compliance to the order dated 31.10.2024, learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Paramjit Singh submits that the factum of marriage of the daughter of the petitioner, which is scheduled for 07.11.2024, is correct.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Paramjit Singh, the petitioner is directed to be released on interim bail for a period of 10 days w.e.f. today i.e. 05.11.2024, subject to

CRM-M-54754-2024 -2his furnishing personal/surety bonds to the satisfaction of trial Court/Duty Magistrate.

It is however, made clear that the petitioner shall surrender to the Jail authorities, concerned on or before 14.11.2024, by 05:00 p.m. The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
