Main case Through this revision, petitioner has laid challenge to order dated 18.04.2018 of the trial court, whereby his right to cross-examine the complainant was put at rest by treating the same as NIL. Learned counsel contends that if the petitioner is not afforded an opportunity to cross-examine the complainant, he may suffer irreparable loss.

CRR No.5017 of 2018 (O&M) --2-- impugned order dated 18.04.2018 of the trial court, is set aside. The petitioner is granted last opportunity to cross-examine the complainant, subject to payment of cost of Rs.3000/- to be deposited with the District Legal Services Authority, Ludhiana.
The trial court is directed to afford one last opportunity to the petitioner to cross-examine the complainant.
