(Oral) The prayer in the petition under Section 438 Cr.PC is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0027 dated 10.05.2023 under Sections 21(1) and 4(1) of Mines and Minerals (Regulation and Development) Act, 1957 (Sections 379 and 120-B of IPC added later on vide DDR No.16 dated 05.08.2023) registered at P.S. Aur, District SBS Nagar. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 09.01.2024 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State Counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined investigation in terms of orders dated 09.01.2024 and is not required for custodial interrogation.

In this view of the matter, interim order dated 09.01.2024 is made absolute.
