1. The petitioner has challenged the order dated 20.11.2023 whereby the petitioner having been posted earlier by the respondents at GHS Tarmala, Block Lambi, Muktsar, was directed to join at GHS Adampura, Block Bhagta Bhai Ka, Bathinda as she had opted for Bathinda.

2. Learned counsel submits that the consent given by the petitioner to join at Bathinda was at the time when the post at Muktsar was not shown as vacant, and later on, she protested orally and the Director shifted and posted her at Muktsar.

3. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that once the petitioner had joined at Muktsar, there was no occasion to shift her to Bathinda, after three months.

4. I have considered the submissions.

5. This Court finds that the petitioner had herself opted for being allotted at GHS Adampura, Block Bhagta Bhai Ka, Bathinda. It is not understood as to how she was posted at Muktsar instead. The action has been corrected by the Directorate vide its order dated 20.11.2023. Therefore, the said order cannot be said to be in any manner wrongful or unjustified.

6. The petitioner however shall be free to make an appropriate representation that if the post at Muktsar is lying vacant, she may be posted at the said place. The said representation may be made within period of ten days, however, the petitioner to join in terms of the order dated 20.11.2023.

7. The representation, if decided in her favour, shall allow her to be posted accordingly.

8. Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
