[1] The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.
[2] This is a petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in F.I.R. No. 168, dated 22nd August, 2019 under Sections 323, 336, 506, 148 and 149 of IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, registered at Police Station Chattiwind, District Amritsar Rural.
[3] On 13th December, 2019, following order was passed:- "

+ate, subject to his furnishing bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting Officer. However, he shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2)(i) to (iv) Cr.P.C. failing which he shall loose the benefit of interim bail allowed to him." [4] Today learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required. [5] In view of statement made, the interim bail granted to the petitioner is made absolute.
[6] The petition is disposed of.
