The present civil revision petition has been filed by the petitioner-tenant for setting aside the impugned order dated 31.01.2023, passed by learned Rent Controller, Gurdaspur and judgment dated 01.10.2024, passed by learned Appellate Authority, Gurdaspur, whereby the petitioner was rejected from the shop-demised premises. Mr. Amandeep Singh Manaise, Advocate, has put in appearance on behalf of contesting respondent No.1(i) to 1(iii) and filed power of attorney, which is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall vacate the premises in question within a period of five months and, in the meantime, shall continue to pay the rent regularly on or before the 10th SHUBHAM 2025.09.15 14:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/order

CR-6501-2024 day of each calendar month. He further prays that till the aforesaid period, the petitioner may not be dispossessed from the premises. Learned counsel for the respondents has endorsed the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner.

In light of the above, the present appeal stands disposed of with the directions that the petitioner shall clear the entire arrears of rent and shall also continue to pay the rent in advance on or before the 10th day of each calendar month. The petitioner shall vacate the premises within a period of five months from today, and till then, he shall not be dispossessed from the demised premises.
