**** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) On 19.09.2025, the following order was passed:- "The prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for quashing of the order dated 19.07.2025 (Annexure P-4) passed in FIR No.175 dated 12.06.2023 under Sections 21 & 61 (to which Section 29 was added later on) of the NDPS Act, 1985 registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Batala, vide which the bail granted to the petitioner was cancelled and while forfeiting the bail bonds/surety bonds, the Trial Court issued non-bailable warrants against him and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom.

The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that on account of noting down of a wrong date, the petitioner was unable to appear on 19.07.2025 because of which the impugned order came to be passed. He states that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the proceedings once again.

Notice of motion for 26.09.2025.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week from today and subject to a deposit of Rs.25,000/- as costs with the Punjab State Legal Services Authority-Disaster Relief Fund, Account No.44426937384, IFSC Code:SBIN0014656, State Bank of India, KUSUM 2025.10.28 10:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC Chandigarh

A copy of the receipt depositing a sum of Rs.25,000/- with the aforesaid Forum as well as a copy of the order granting interim bail to the petitioner be produced in the Court on the next date of hearing."

Thereafter, on 26.09.2025, the following order was passed:- "The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that one more opportunity be granted to the petitioner to comply with the order dated 19.09.2025.

List again on 27.10.2025.

The petitioner is granted one more week's time to surrender before the Trial Court in terms of the order dated 19.09.2025. Interim order to continue."

In pursuance to the aforementioned order, the petitioner has surrendered before the Trial Court and has since been released on interim bail. An amount of Rs.25,000/- stands deposited and the receipt of the same is taken on record as Mark 'A'.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.

It is expected that the petitioner shall not absent himself from the Trial without sufficient cause.

Disposed of.
